I just read one of the last questions about the fiber. I have not had trouble drinking it, as that just doesn’t bother me, but I’ve been experimenting just for the heck of it. I have a drink shaker from Tupperware that I use when I add yogurt and it works great, but I’ve also used a blender to add fruit. Try these recipes:

2 oz plain yogurt, 4 oz orange juice, 4 oz cranberry juice, your dose of fiber. Shake vigorously.

2 oz plain yogurt, 4 oz orange juice, 4 oz soy milk, your dose of fiber. Shake vigorously.

IN A BLENDER:

2 oz plain yogurt, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup frozen cherries or mixed berries, 1 tsp honey or natural sweetener (NO SUGAR!), 4 oz soy milk, 4 oz orange juice, your dose of fiber. Blend until smooth and creamy.

These disguise the fiber’s texture, plus it suspends the fiber better, giving it more than just a few seconds before it gets thick and funky, and really transforms the fiber dose into a nice breakfast drink.

Hope this helps!

Thanks! I’ll put that on the site for those who want an alternate way to take their fiber!

Great to hear from you. I just got back from a vacation and woo, I am in need of a brief cleanse! I completed 2 months, but have product left over. I am going to see if I can get away with just the colonix fiber for now—I have almost half a container left over, just enough to get me “going” again!!

Anyway, enough about that…how have you been? How’s your health been lately? I remember the numerous issues you had prior to the cleanse. Have the effects been lasting?

I hope you had an awesome vacation!

I’m doing really well. I am still having trouble with my ears running, but I’m eating a little more fruit now, which feeds the candida. I’m going to have to continue to work on the candida. Someone else recommended threelac, so I’ll try that and see if it gives me the extra boost I need to get the candida backed off a little more.

I’m done with the cleanse, and as soon as we ran out of Kleritea I noticed my digestive system started slowing down and backing up. <panicked look> I SO didn’t want to go there again. Because we were really short on funds I went to the health food store and got a box of “smooth move” to try. I took a reduced amount of that at night but it didn’t work the same as the Kleritea and my body didn’t like it as well. I ordered some Kleritea, and got regular again, back to where I was taking about 1/2 cup every other night, but it was such a hassle . . . tired, end of the day, yada, yada. I could get away with every other night, but I still had to take it if I wanted to keep things moving.

I remembered taking Quercetin, a co-Q10 antioxidant. I can’t remember who turned me onto it, I just remember it had a really efficacious action. I got busy and didn’t persue finding it, then I was at the health food store getting something else and there it was right in front of me. Funny how things go. I’ve been taking a capsule every morning and night and no longer need the stimulation of the Kleritea. I think this is a good thing.

Stay in touch, would you?

The vacation was great. My new “daughter-in-law” (future really—my fiancé’s son’s wife) and I were talking health and wellness through most of the vacation. For me it was the fiber that really kept me regular.

I will definitely keep in touch, and I’ll put my feelers out for Candida remedies.
